HUB

Stay Connected.
Stay Supported.
Stay Involved.

Welcome to the Big Sister Community Hub — your central space for upcoming Big Sister Check-Ins, orientations, support opportunities, and community gatherings.

At My Sister’s Keeper, we believe no sister should walk this journey alone. Being a Big Sister means more than mentorship — it means creating meaningful connections, offering encouragement, sharing wisdom, and walking beside another woman through life’s challenges and victories.

This page was created to help you stay engaged and connected with the sisterhood.

Why Your Updates Matter

Staying Connected Helps Us Support Better

As a Big Sister, your relationship with your Little Sister is one of the most important connections within My Sister’s Keeper. You often see the small changes, celebrate victories, recognize challenges, and hear concerns before anyone else.

Regular updates help ensure that no sister quietly slips through the cracks.

When updates are not received, we may miss opportunities to provide support, identify barriers, connect sisters to resources, or respond when someone begins withdrawing or struggling.

Your updates help us:

💜 Identify support needs early

💜 Recognize changes in wellness or engagement

💜 Address concerns before they become bigger challenges

💜 Create new programs and services based on community needs and trends

💜 Celebrate milestones and victories

💜 Ensure every sister receives meaningful connection and care

Even a quick update can make a difference.

When Should I Submit an Update?

We encourage Big Sisters to provide updates at least monthly, but you do not have to wait for a scheduled check-in.

Please submit updates when:

✔ You have connected with your Little Sister
✔ There has been a change in treatment, health, or personal circumstances
✔ You notice new challenges or barriers
✔ Communication becomes difficult or your Little Sister becomes unresponsive
✔ Additional support or resources may be helpful
✔ There is a milestone, victory, or positive update worth celebrating

Small updates matter too.
