A Walk in Her Shoes - Collinwood - Virtual

On October 24, 2020, My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland adapted to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by hosting its annual A Walk in Her Shoes event virtually. Despite the shift from an in-person gathering to an online experience, the event maintained its spirit of resilience and sisterhood, drawing over 100 participants from across the community.

The virtual walk included an exciting new feature—a virtual workout session offered by BluePrint Fitness. This interactive workout session energized participants and emphasized the importance of staying active and healthy, even during challenging times. Attendees also engaged in heartfelt conversations, heard inspiring testimonials from cancer survivors (known as warriors), and showed their support through photos and videos shared online.

The 2020 A Walk in Her Shoes proved that the pandemic could not dampen the strength of the community or the mission of My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland. The event continued to raise awareness, foster solidarity, and support women undergoing cancer treatment, all while embracing innovative ways to connect and inspire.
