A Walk in Her Shoes - Buckeye - Year 2

On October 8, 2022, My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland hosted its second and final A Walk in Her Shoes event in the Buckeye neighborhood, once again in partnership with MetroHealth. This farewell to Buckeye was marked by an outpouring of community support, celebrating the strength, resilience, and unity that the event has always embodied.

Building on the success of the previous year, the event featured the iconic symbolic walk, powerful testimonials from cancer survivors (known as warriors), and expanded health resources provided by MetroHealth, including educational booths and wellness screenings. Activities for attendees of all ages created a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

The 2022 A Walk in Her Shoes not only celebrated the accomplishments of women impacted by cancer but also marked the conclusion of an impactful chapter in the Buckeye neighborhood. This final event in Buckeye set the stage for future iterations of A Walk in Her Shoes, continuing to grow its mission of advocacy, awareness, and support for women undergoing cancer treatment.
