The Practice of Becoming
A Soul-Centered Framework for Reclaiming Strength, Balance, and Self
The Practice of Becoming is a healing-centered journey for those navigating life after cancer, trauma, or personal transformation. Whether you are just starting or deep in your process, this is your space — a space for becoming more of who you are now.
How It Works
The Practice of Becoming is more than a program—it’s a journey back to yourself. Built around the image of a barbell, each “weight” represents a stage of growth. To earn a weight, you move through a series of milestones—guided steps that invite you to reflect, release, and rebuild. These milestones aren’t just tasks; they’re moments of rediscovery, helping you uncover the strength, voice, and beauty that hardship tried to dim. With every weight gained, you feel lighter in spirit but stronger in purpose, reclaiming the pieces of who you are and piecing them into something new. The Practice of Becoming is not about rushing—it’s about honoring the process of becoming whole again, one milestone, one weight, one transformation at a time.
8 Pillars. 1 Balanced Barbell.
Title | Focus | Color |
|---|---|---|
Healing | Emotional Wellness | Lavender |
Strength | Physical Resilience | Black |
Stability | Financial Empowerment | Grey |
Advocacy | Health Knowledge & Voice | Black |
Faith | Spiritual Grounding | Lavender |
Sisterhood | Community & Belonging | Pink |
Identity | Self-Discovery | Pink |
Acceptance | Integration & Peace | Grey |
Each time you complete a set of milestones under a pillar, you earn a symbolic weight — a visual sign of the strength you’ve reclaimed. When you’ve earned all eight, you’ll be honored at the Balanced Barbell Ceremony.
