Stacy Ward-Braxton
Director, Big Sister Program
Stacy Ward-Baxton is the Director of the Big Sister’s Program at My Sister's Keeper, where she leads the peer-support mentorship and cancer coaching initiative. With a deep passion for empowering women, Stacy is focused on the development and growth of the Big Sister Program, ensuring that cancer survivors who serve as mentors are well-equipped with the skills and training needed to support newly diagnosed women (Little Sisters) through their cancer journey.
Stacy brings extensive experience in organizational development, leadership coaching, and team development. Her background includes a Master of Science in Positive Organization Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Notre Dame College. As an experienced facilitator and leadership development practitioner, she has worked with individuals and teams to foster positive change and build community capacity.
At My Sister's Keeper, Stacy's role includes developing comprehensive training programs for Big Sisters, fostering strong peer-to-peer support networks, and guiding the program’s strategic direction. Her expertise in emotional intelligence, team engagement, and volunteer management ensures that each Big Sister has the resources and support to mentor effectively and contribute to the organization's mission of holistic cancer care.
