As the Director of Nutritional Services for My Sister's Keeper, Latonya Fore-Williams is dedicated to supporting women on their wellness journeys, particularly those navigating the challenges of obesity and related conditions. With a doctoral degree in nursing practice and over nine years of experience, Latonya specializes in obesity medicine and bariatric care, providing holistic, evidence-based treatment.
Latonya’s approach focuses on addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of obesity. Known for building strong, trusting relationships with patients, she creates a supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel understood and empowered. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, Latonya develops personalized treatment plans that integrate nutrition, behavior, physical activity, and pharmacotherapy when needed.
In addition to her clinical work, Latonya serves as an adjunct professor and speaker, sharing her expertise with the healthcare community and advocating for improved obesity prevention and treatment strategies.
