Sherri White
President and CEO
Sherri White is a visionary healthcare professional and tireless advocate for change, whose personal and professional journey has been marked by a deep commitment to improving the lives of others. With a Master of Science in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University, Sherri has developed a unique blend of leadership, strategic decision-making, and process improvement skills that have shaped her impactful career.
Sherri’s career in healthcare began at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, where she served as an Executive Secretary across multiple institutes, including Respiratory, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesiology. It was here that Sherri’s passion for driving change took root, as she spearheaded a Secretary Skill Building program that enhanced the skills of over 10,000 employees—demonstrating her early dedication to uplifting others through education and empowerment.
Her work in healthcare deepened in 2010 when she joined Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) as a Department Administrator for the Hematology and Oncology Division at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. There, Sherri played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the Cancer Center and CWRU, championing collaboration and organizational excellence. Her initiatives to reduce clerical skills gaps, implement training programs, and design onboarding for new physicians directly improved patient care, creating a lasting impact on the lives of those receiving treatment.
In 2015, Sherri took on a leadership role at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center as Manager of Support Services, where she revolutionized patient care processes, reducing call abandonment rates, reschedules, and no-shows. Her work directly contributed to better patient outcomes and greater operational efficiency, further solidifying her reputation as a leader dedicated to transformational change.
But Sherri’s most profound contribution came in 2018 when, following her own courageous battle with breast cancer, she founded My Sister’s Keeper. This nonprofit was born from her deep desire to offer other women facing cancer the support and community she knew was crucial in the healing process. My Sister’s Keeper now serves as a lifeline for countless women, providing essential resources, emotional support, and empowerment to help them navigate their cancer journeys.
Sherri’s commitment to continuous improvement is evident in her certifications as a Sigma Green Belt and Lean Process Project Management professional, as well as her completion of the Emotionally Intelligent Leader Coaching program at CWRU. These qualifications, combined with her vast healthcare experience and personal connection to cancer, fuel her leadership of My Sister’s Keeper and her ongoing efforts to uplift others.
Today, Sherri White stands as a beacon of hope, resilience, and empowerment—not just for the women she serves through My Sister’s Keeper, but for the healthcare community as a whole. Her story is one of perseverance, purpose, and an unyielding belief in the power of community to heal, transform, and inspire.
