A Walk in Her Shoes - Collinwood - Year 1

On October 6, 2018, My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland, in partnership with Beauty Marks, owned by Felicia Berry, hosted the inaugural A Walk in Her Shoes event in the vibrant Collinwood neighborhood. This empowering event brought the community together to honor the resilience and strength of women impacted by cancer. Participants of all ages joined a symbolic walk to show their support, fostering solidarity and raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by women battling this disease.

With the collaboration of Beauty Marks, the event offered an uplifting experience, including inspiring testimonials from survivors (known as warriors), engaging activities, and booths offering resources for cancer education, health services, and community support. Proceeds from the event directly supported My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland's mission to create a supportive community for women undergoing cancer treatment.
