A Walk in Her Shoes - Collinwood - Year 2

On October 5, 2019, My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland, in partnership with Beauty Marks, owned by Felicia Berry, hosted the second annual A Walk in Her Shoes event in the heart of the Collinwood neighborhood. This year marked the last and final time the event would be held at this beloved location, creating a heartfelt and memorable experience for all who attended.

Participation in the event doubled from its inaugural year, growing from 62 to an impressive 124 attendees. This remarkable increase reflected the community's growing commitment to supporting women impacted by cancer. Attendees joined the symbolic walk, heard powerful testimonials from survivors (known as warriors), and enjoyed engaging activities and resource booths focused on cancer education, health services, and community empowerment.

With the continued partnership of Beauty Marks, the event celebrated resilience, strength, and sisterhood, while raising funds to support My Sister's Keeper-Cleveland's mission of surrounding women undergoing cancer treatment with a supportive community.

The 2019 A Walk in Her Shoes event closed a chapter in Collinwood with gratitude and pride, leaving behind a legacy of hope and inspiration that will carry forward into future endeavors.
