Cancellation Policy
This policy outlines expectations and guidelines for individuals who serve as speakers for My Sisters’ Circle, hosted by My Sister’s Keeper-Cleveland (MySKCle). By participating, speakers acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. Session Format & Distribution Live Streaming & Recording: My Sisters’ Circle sessions will be conducted via Zoom and streamed live on Facebook. Content Availability: Sessions will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube, where they will remain accessible for reference. Recordings may also be featured on the My Sister’s Keeper-Cleveland website. Speaker Expectations Content Relevance & Appropriateness Speakers should align their presentation with the mission of My Sister’s Keeper-Cleveland, focusing on empowerment, education, wellness, advocacy, or personal growth. Content must be respectful, inclusive, and free from discriminatory language, political endorsements, or sales pitches. Confidentiality & Respect Speakers must respect the privacy of participants and refrain from sharing any personal or sensitive information disclosed during the session. Speakers should ensure that all shared stories and examples maintain confidentiality unless prior consent has been obtained. Media Consent & Rights By agreeing to speak, the speaker grants My Sister’s Keeper-Cleveland the right to record, distribute, and archive the session for future reference. MySKCle retains ownership of all recordings and may use them for educational and promotional purposes. Technical & Presentation Guidelines Speakers are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, clear audio, and appropriate lighting for virtual presentations. If slides or visual aids are used, they must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance for review. Cancellations & Rescheduling If a speaker is unable to attend as scheduled, they must notify MySKCle as soon as possible to arrange a replacement or rescheduling. Engagement & Interaction Speakers are encouraged to engage with attendees through Q&A sessions, polls, or interactive discussions. Any disagreements or differing viewpoints should be handled with respect and professionalism. Agreement By signing up as a speaker, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the My Sisters’ Circle Speaker Policy.
