Introducing Our Enhanced Logo: Every Cancer. Every Story. Every Sister.
My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland is proud to introduce our enhanced logo, created to reflect the full scope of the community we serve.
While our roots remain grounded in supporting women affected by breast cancer, our mission has grown to embrace individuals and families impacted by all cancers. The updated design represents that broader commitment while preserving the sisterhood, strength, compassion, and hope at the heart of our organization.
This enhanced logo marks an important step in our continued growth. It reflects who we are today: a community standing beside people across diagnoses, treatment journeys, survivorship, caregiving, and remembrance.
Our look may be evolving, but our purpose remains the same—to educate, advocate, connect, and provide meaningful support to those affected by cancer.

Waiting Room Watchers Launches in Oklahoma City
Waiting Room Watchers waslaunched (June 2026) in Oklahoma City through a partnership with Stephenson Cancer Center as part of the Navigator-Assisted Hypofractionation (NAVAH) on Radiation Therapy Completion in Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer initiative, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Shearwood McClelland, MD.
The program is designed to meet patients and families where they are by bringing trusted childcare support, connection, and peace of mind into the clinical setting during treatment.
Since launching:
2 patients have enrolled in NAVAH
4 children have received care
28 Waiting Room Watchers sessions have been completed
Michaela Hardeman has been promoted to Head Watcher
Early feedback has been extremely positive. Both parents respondents gave the service top ratings for ease of scheduling, professionalism, and compassionate care.
Every respondent reported that their child felt safe and well cared for, and 100% said they would use the service again or recommend it to another mother. Hospital and facility respondents also gave top ratings, reporting that the service reduced stress, supported patient flow, met a real need, and should continue or expand.
One parent shared that the service allowed her to continue treatment with peace of mind, knowing her children were in safe hands.
We are grateful to Stephenson Cancer Center, the NAVAH team, our Watchers, and everyone helping bring this important service to life in Oklahoma City. This is only the beginning. 💙
Middle Sister Program Update
My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland is temporarily pausing the Middle Sister Program.
During this pause, we will not be accepting new Middle Sister applications or making new matches. Current participants has was sent direct communication regarding any next steps or changes that may affect them.
We understand how meaningful this program has been to our Sisters and community. This pause does not change our commitment to providing connection, encouragement, education, and support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
We will share additional information when the program is ready to resume. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland.
Music for Your Soul: Prostate Cancer Awareness Concert

We are grateful that a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland, helping us continue providing cancer education, outreach, advocacy, wellness programming, and support for individuals and families affected by cancer.

Lace up your walking shoes and join My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland for our 9th Annual A Walk in Her Shoes!
This special community event honors cancer warriors, celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones, and connects individuals and families with valuable information, resources, and support.
This year, we are proud to partner with the Fatima Family Center to bring the walk to Cleveland’s Ward 8. Every two years, A Walk in Her Shoes moves to a different Cleveland neighborhood so we can reach new communities, raise awareness, and bring cancer education and support directly to the people we serve.

Walk as an individual, create a team, become a fundraiser, volunteer, or make a donation.
Every step and every contribution helps My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland continue providing sisterhood, education, advocacy, wellness programs, and community-based support to individuals and families impacted by cancer.

Teams and individual fundraisers who raise $100 or more by September 1 will receive a personalized virtual walk banner. The banner will be emailed to the fundraiser or team captain and shared on My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
Registered teams will also receive a dedicated link to invite walkers and collect donations.

Celebrating Sister Diane Richardson
This month, we are proud to celebrate Diane Richardson—a Big Sister, Warrior Ambassador, and valued member of the My Sister’s Keeper community.
Diane has been an encourager from day one. Even while navigating her own cancer treatments, she continue
d to inspire and uplift other Sisters. Through the videos she shared during treatment and throughout her journey, Diane offered encouragement, strength, and hope to others facing difficult moments.
Her willingness to share her experience, advocate for herself and others, and support fellow Sisters is a powerful example of what sisterhood looks like in action.

Join My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland for the Reviving Prayer Circle Summer Bible Study, a welcoming virtual gathering created for women seeking encouragement, connection, and spiritual renewal.

My Sister’s Keeper–Cleveland is proud to support Stephanie Morris Nunn, a featured designer at this year’s Pretty in Pink Warrior Coronation Gala, as she presents Reimagined Couture: Art as Power. Fashion as Voice.

Reimagined Couture is an immersive charity fashion experience featuring a circular runway, live fashion presentations, artistic installations, and curated performances. Guests can choose from several seating experiences, including second-row Gallery seating, front-row Couture Circle seating, and an in-the-round Bar Experience at the center of the runway.
Proceeds support Nadira Art & Design, Stephanie’s nonprofit organization dedicated to using art, fashion, and design as tools for healing, self-expression, empowerment, and emotional wellness. Its programs include therapeutic art workshops, mentorship, painting and journaling sessions, safe-space discussio
ns, vision-board workshops, and sewing and crochet instruction for youth and adults.
Stephanie’s work extends far beyond the runway. As an artist, designer, mentor, and advocate, she has used her own experience living with a degenerative eye condition to encourage others to move through adversity and discover their creative voices.
