This Christmas, we want our My Sister’s Keeper Cleveland families—and especially our Sisters navigating cancer—to know this: you are not forgotten, and you are not alone.
For many women, cancer treatment does not pause for the holidays. Appointments continue. Side effects linger. And the emotional weight of the season can feel heavier when you are already carrying so much. Some of our Sisters are in active treatment. Others are simply in need of a reminder that hope still exists—and that their community is standing with them.
That is why this season, we are honored to share Warrior Mail.

Through a meaningful partnership with students from Warner Girls’ Leadership Academy, young girls took time to write handwritten letters and create artwork for women facing cancer across Northeast Ohio. The students learned, in age-appropriate ways, what it means to be a Warrior and why courage, compassion, and encouragement matter—especially when someone is fighting for their life.
Each letter was written with care. Some offered prayers. Others shared drawings, affirmations, and simple but powerful reminders: You are strong. You are loved. Don’t give up. For women receiving these letters during treatment or moments of uncertainty, those words became a lifeline—proof that even on the hardest days, hope can still reach them.
Warrior Mail is more than an exchange of letters. It is a reminder that community shows up, that empathy can be taught, and that love—especially from the youngest among us—has the power to carry strength where medicine alone cannot.
From all of us at My Sister’s Keeper Cleveland, we wish you a Merry Christmas. May this season bring comfort, peace, and the reassurance that your fight is seen and honored.

From all of us at My Sister's Keeper Cleveland, Merry Christmas!
